I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alluar Lodge during a work trip, and it certainly exceeded all my expectations. The individual cabins provide a cozy retreat, complete with stunning sea views and all the comforts you'd want-air conditioning, a mini-bar, and even a lovely terrace to enjoy your morning tea. The highlight, however, was the charming breakfast that felt almost like a romantic throwback; it was a delightful way to start each day. The communal areas, including the garden and pool, offer a perfect setting for unwinding after a day of meetings. Plus, having access to complimentary bicycles encouraged us to explore the breathtaking surroundings, which I find invaluable when traveling for business. What really stood out was the warmth of the hosts; they ensured every detail was taken care of, making our stay truly memorable. If I ever find myself back in Terceira, I can confidently say Alluar Lodge will be my go-to. It's a rare gem that encapsulates both comfort and history, offering a refreshing escape from the usual hotel experience. Highly recommended!
